fortnite is a bloated game whether you play on console or PC. so the fact that they were able to create a mobile version that is exactly the same as the two other platforms is remarkable. you're able to play on an Android or Apple in the same match as someone who's playing on PC. the only challenge is the optimization, but the developer has included plenty of settings that you can toy with to get it to work on your device. not many other games have accomplished this.

In my previous review, I gave them a 3-star rating, but it runs surprisingly better on the Play Store than on Epic for my phone. I also have it on PC and my Switch, but it plays better on PC than on the Switch. The controls take a bit to get used to, but I am still playing at a super competitive level. Overall, it's a really solid gameplay experience for me.

surprised how well it runs compared to how it ran when I downloaded it from the epic game store. I really like the fact that it doesn't make you download the game modes you're not going to play. when I downloaded it from the epic game store, it would try to download everything right away (like 25gb of stuff). this file wasn't as big (6gb). if you're using touch controls I strongly recommend you don't play rocket racing, the controls on that are Way too complicated. I use PS4 controller.
